“Could not have been more perfect!”
Reviewed 2 May 2018 for a stay in April 2018

We were so pleased when we arrived to find such a lovely home with all the amenities, but the added treat was that every room had a (new) bathroom, there was a good flow of heat throughout the house, and the beds were all large and comfortable! Our hostess was very good about communicating and it was very easy to find. We loved that the house felt like our own, and totally enjoyed and immersed in our stay! Would highly recommend this place to anyone~!

Thank you Lynne for your very positive review. I do try hard to get things right for my guests and it’s great to hear that I seem to have got it right. Pleasedo feel confident to recommend Halliday’s Folly as This will always be my priority.

“Beautiful, spotlessly clean, well situated cottage.”
Reviewed 3 April 2018 for a stay in March 2018

We have just returned from a long weekend from this property which is one of the best we have stayed in. The cottage is very clean and tidy with all modern amenities. Sue, the owner is very welcoming and was on hand if we needed anything. There are two pubs in the village of Greetham, both within walking distance and both provide very good meals, if required. There is a small seating area outside the property which is shielded by a trellis from the main road which gives you the degree of privacy you need when sitting out. We will definitely be returning at some time in the future.

“A perfectly restful stay.”
Reviewed 30 October 2017 for a stay in October 2017

Halliday's Folly is a really great cottage, finished to a high standard and with very comfortable beds! Greetham is a lovely village and there are two pubs and a village shop within walking distance. Perfectly positioned to explore Rutland water and Oakham. We cycled to the reservoir from the cottage, past Hambleton Bakery - a perfect stop to pick up picnic goodies - delicious bread, savoury and sweet treats. This was a very relaxing break, thank you Sue, a fabulous host

“Wonderful place, amazing host ”
Reviewed 17 September 2017 for a stay in August 2017

Myself and my 2 adult siblings booked this weekend away for us and our parents for August 2017. The owner, Sue, was absolutely amazing and so accommodating and helpful. We were her very 1st guests! She really has thought of everything you could possibly want, down to every utensil imaginable in the kitchen! And was fantastic having a dishwasher. She left us some bread and eggs on arrival and it's those touched which just made us feel so welcome! Was a fantastic spot with which to explore the local area and 2 nice pubs within walking distance (5 min walk max either side!) Plenty of parking outside the cottage too! It was just the perfect place for us to spend a weekend together as a family cooking, playing games and chilling out. Thanks Sue! Would recommend this place in a heartbeat!
