Gorgeous apartment in a gorgeous village run by gorgeous people who make absolutely gorgeous champagne. ...there's nothing else to say except go there.
I book this apartment for our first two nights of our trip. The apartment was much nicer than I expected, very clean, light and roomy with a great view of the village. I did not know when I booked it that they also own a Champagne house. When you arrive they have one bottle of each of their four Champagnes in the fridge. Simply drink what you want and pay when you leave. It is very good Champagne too, so we bought more to take home. There are two bedrooms, each with an en suite shower and sink, the toilet is at the end of the hall. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking with even some basic spices. It would be very comfortable for two couples. There is free, safe parking on the street. The owner Bernadette is charming and speaks great English. I learned a few new things about the Champagne industry from her that I did not know. They have a nice inner courtyard where you can relax and enjoy your Champagne. The apartment is on the second floor, so would not be recommended for people who can not manage stairs. The location is excellent, walking distance to restaurants, shops, Champagne houses and the Abby where Dom Perignion is buried in the floor. So when you are ready to experience the real France this is a good place to stay, if you need someone to make your bed and kiss your butt, stay in an expensive hotel in Epernay.
