Really impressed with this.
Well maintained, animals well cared for.
great for young children with a nice selection of birds, rabbits, ducks, goats, pony, horse and fish
You can pay 20c and get food to feed the goats
Combine this with the play park and you have a brilliant free day out

Quiet place with cute rabbits and goats. Ideal for family with children, where they can play, see animals, play and enjoy walking around the place. It's free of charge.

The petting farm is free to enter, you can get to it using the 56 bus which you can pick up from Valletta bus station, think this is under rank C. Not many animals to pet, there was sheep, goats, an adorable donkey and Llama which you can touch. The donkey loves his neck being scratched. There is a horse which is just out of reach, plus small birds, chickens and peacocks. The pond was a little cloudy but you can just see the bigger fish, there are gold fish higher up the weir which can be seen. Great for young kids as there are play areas. Some food can be bought from machines at the back of the admin building. Toilet facilities are present but ensure you have your own toilet roll and hand wash. There is a pathway to the Main Gardens which is worth an onward journey.

We were told of this place whilst on holiday in Bugibba in the October holiday week. I along with my wife, daughter, son-in-law and the three grandchildren went along for the day out. When we arrived, my daughter and myself went to see where we had to pay, but were told it was FREE!!! as the Maltese government pay for it. To call it amazing is an understatement, the kids were in their element. There are machines which take 20 cent coins to buy some food to feed the animals (PLEASE READ MY REPORT ON THE "BOV ADVENTURE PARK") I COULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE HIGHLY ENOUGH.

The fish pond was full of suds and murky so one couldn't see any fish, while one of the pygmy goats had a broken leg (dangling). At least the animals seemed well fed, and the area nicely laid out, though the animal pens were pretty bare.
