Owa is a great place to stay while visiting Lombok. I would definitely recommend. Thomas was great with communication. If you need a ride from the airport, provide flight details and he will send a taxi for pick up. The rate will be a standard taxi rate. The kitchen has good food and breakfast is included. This is a great place to disconnect as there is no wifi available. Enjoy the beautiful pool and the beach close by, and be sure to check out all the other great beaches in the area. Owa Lodge is low key and intimate. Lastly the staff was amazing and they can help you arrange scooters which is a great way to explore Lombok.

Beautiful location off the beaten track with a very relaxed vibe. The staff was one of the most friendly we've experienced in Indonesia. They would always try to have a chat, looked genuinely happy to see us and promptly solved any issues we had.

We stayed here a few months after the 2018 earthquakes and were very sad to see that people avoided this area. Restaurants were mostly empty and you would only meet the odd tourist while on the road. It was clear that also Owa Lodge was also suffering the consequences of the earthquake (even though nothing in South Lombok was actually damaged), as we had the entire place to ourselves most of the time.

We really hope things will get better as both the accommodation and the people running it are awesome!

Room tip: First-floor rooms provide a better view and more privacy

We stayed at Owa for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. It was totally worth it to come to Areguling if you’re looking for a more remote, quite area. Our room at Owa was very modern, clean, and comfortable. The view of the ocean was nice. The pool is also very good with nice lounge chairs. The people running the hotel are really friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed talking with them. You can get drinking water refilled from the front desk as much as you want.

Because of the remote location, we ate dinner at the Owa restaurant every night that we were there to avoid walking home in the dark. The food is decent if not amazing. Recommend the ikan pepes and the burger, the gnocchi and pasta was reasonable.

In terms of location, it was a quick 7 minute walk to Areguling beach where there a few very small cafes. One day we also walked over the hill to Mawun beach, which took about 40 minutes probably. Very doable if like us you don’t want to rent a motorbike. The path was fairly easy to follow, somewhat tiring.

This was a very nice stay in a very nice place. I would definitely recommend coming to Areguling for a few days and staying at Owa Lodge.

Beautifully manicured garden, very relaxed pool, very chilled ambience. Delicious cuisine, and very attentive and helpful staff. Very close to the beach, off the beaten path. A turnoff sign off the main road would be helpful - not all taxi drivers know where it is.

This place is so amazing! It is just out of Kuta which is so nice to have a quietness of the ocean and nothing else. Once you arrive at the hotel you are so pleased with every moment. The staff are so accommodating. The rooms are so lovely and they only have 4 so it is never busy. It is truly the perfect escape. It is a one minute to the ocean but they also have a pool. The food in the restaurant is delicious. They make everything from scratch and is some of the best food i had on my trip in Lombok. Will defiantly be back. Thank you to the owner and all the lovely staff.
