My wife and I stayed two nights at the Sea View in May and wish we had stayed two weeks. Such a nice place and there is so much to see and do around Doolin. Breakfast was superb and our room was very comfortable with views of both the sunrise and sunset...at least when we were there in late May. Two of the favorites things we did while in Ireland for two weeks were in Doolin: the cliff walk with local farmer Pat Sweeney and an evening at the Music House, listening to Christy Barry and his fiddler friend Jim play traditional Irish music and tell stories of growing up in Doolin. We have our host Darra to thank for recommending and arranging both of these. So if you are going to Ireland, go to Doolin. And if you are going to Doolin, stay at the Seav View. You will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: Book early.

My wife and I stayed at the Sea View for one night in late May. Would have spent 2 but availability was limited. We wanted to spend an evening at Gus O'Connor's and figured staying locally was a good idea and this place was across the road. Turned out to be more than close. The hosts were wonderful. Breakfast great - and as all guests were at one big table a great place to make new friends. Including one man who had been playing in Gus O'Connor's the night before. Our room was neat, clean, and comfortable. View from deck was great too but unfortunately this was the only day it rained during our trip. I recommend a couple of days in Doolin (there's more than Gus O'Connor's) and staying at the Sea View House.

Absolutely love the Sea View House, Dara & Niall, and the Doolin area. This is our 5th or 6th time staying at Sea View and recommend to all traveling in the Clare area. The pubs are great, food is wonderful, entertainment every night, the cliffs are a great hike and the Aran Islands terrific. Many other sites and things to do, the Burren, Galway is close, Doonbeg and Lahinch. We travel to Ireland yearly and this is a must visit. Thanks to the Hughes, see you soon.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Sea View while visiting Ireland for our 40th Anniversary. It was perfect! Darra and Niall were wonderful hosts and made our stay a heavenly experience. Our room was neat and clean ( spotless) and the view of a castle from our room or the view of ocean from the front deck was just lovely! And of course Breakfast was excellent! The Sea View is THE BEST place to stay in Doolin! We can't wait to return. We miss it already. Thank you Darra and Niall for your wonderful hospitality! p.s. oh, and Darra will give you all the ideas and details of things to do and places to see. Amazing!!!

This was by far the best place we stayed recently on our 10 day trip. Dara & Niall are amazing hosts. The house is beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely delicious whether you choose the goat cheese frittata or the full Irish or the other enticing options. A short walk down the drive takes you to the main street. Dara was ready with any information about the area and can make reservations for whatever you please. Don't miss the Burren Perfumery, even with boys who could care less about perfume. Just an overall charming stay complete with farm animals and fresh eggs from the girls.

Room Tip: There are only 4 rooms, all great.
