Description: Experience the flavour, style, colour and charm of modern Italy at this truly outstanding Piccolino restaurant and bar. Located on Ashley Road in the attractive village of Hale, the restaurant features a fine dark wood exterior that is sure to turn heads, whilst the covered al fresco terrace is the perfect location to enjoy a relaxing drink or bite to eat with friends. Beyond the glass doors, vibrant green leather upholstery is combined with striking black marble table tops, inviting mirrors and sleek wooden finishes to create a contemporary style and atmosphere that is always welcoming, relaxed and informal. Upstairs, the chefs work passionately in the open kitchen, whilst the sight of fresh pasta being made from scratch each and every day provides a delightful visual spectacle for guests as they enjoy the great tastes of Italy.

I visit frequently for both drinks and food. The bar staff are all very friendly, lead by Davide who always finds us a nice table to enjoy a drink before sitting down for food. You never feel rushed and having bar table service is a bonus meaning you can start relaxing from the moment you walk in.

The in place to sit in the sun with the Cheshire set, slightly tired place now with biggest asset being the terrace. But not in 80 degree sunlight! The staff are fine, they have their favourite customers reserving selected shaded tables for them whilst making other regulars sit in the heat. We asked for the cover to come over us, after 6 attempts they did it...cannot complain re staff at all. But the £128 bill for sheer rubbish food and at lunch was a farce...we complained on deaf ears...and not for the 1st time here. The lunch was horrible. Prawn cocktail with the smallest prawns and fewest I have ever been served...poor sauce, to much lettuce. The fish main course was full of bones, cold, and the sides disgusting...even my tirimisu was warm...will not be returning at all anytime soon and we are loyal regulars at Alderley and Hale. I /we are no food critics..but we are regular restaurant goers and know good from bad. You need to STOP taking us for granted, and sort it out please.

Had a lovely meal and drinks with friends and was served by Roberto who was very attentive and kind. Ensured everything was fine with the meal and drinks and ensured we had everything we needed. Lovely food and service - would definitely recommend.

We are quite a regular at Piccolinos Hale - mainly due to my boyfriend John being a black card member. it is always a pleasure from the moment you walk in the door. The management and staff make you feel extremely welcome, the service is always excellent. Great food and we have to give a special mention to Roberto.
