Amazing place to stay to get back to nature. The bell tents are spacious, with a comfy bed and have an ottoman of things you may need for your stay, ranging from a kettle, complementary tea/coffee etc, down to cooking equipment and cutlery. We enjoyed the meals included option and we were not disappointed. The home cooked food was outstanding, this was delivered to your tent. The walk through the land is lovely and the views are incredible. An extra treat we weren't expecting was the view of the stars in the evening, it was spectacular in the open field. Absolutely fantastic hosts, from their knowledge of the area, to their nothing was too much trouble attitudes. Will definitely be returning in the near future. Cannot rate this place highly enough.

We visited during the summer holidays and were thrilled with our stay.

The site is located in the middle of a wood and it’s really peaceful. We stayed in a bell tent and you are also able to rent hammocks to sleep outside. Each tent comes with its own private port-a-loo tent. Everything was really clean and well thought out.

The tents have full double beds, as well as additional pull out beds. Sleeping bags are required if you intend to use the pull out beds. All the beds were very comfortable.

You are provided with a fire pit, seats, a table, fresh water, torch, crockery and cutlery, a kettle for use on an open fire, fire lighters and matches. We’d recommend you also take your own torch.

Evening meals, desserts and breakfast are able to be ordered from the site. They are delivered to your tent. We can recommend the food as it was reasonably priced, very tasty and delivered hot and fresh.

There are showers located in the parking area of the site.

There wasn’t a lot of information online but you should be aware that there is a ten minute uphill walk from the car park to your tent. It is not a difficult walk but you should make sure that you have appropriate footwear and are dressed accordingly. The owners will take your belongings to the camp on a trailer pulled by a quad bike and you carry them back down when you’re leaving.

The environment is very safe for children to explore. There are lots of lovely walks to try.

One of the nicest things about our stay was the really friendly owners. It is a family run business and they are all lovely.

We will definitely return.
