“13 People and 2 Dogs all very happy!”

Three families comprising of 6 adults, 7 kids and 2 dogs stayed at the end of June and loved the accomodation. The location is well placed for day trips to the amazing local beaches and the Afan Forest visitor centre is just a few miles away where the dads had an awesome morning of mountain biking on the trails which exceeded expectations. The large Bbq and huge open plan living area was perfect for chilling out in the evenings. If we return to the area again (which we are tempted to do) I am sure we would look to book Depot Road again. Many thanks for a great stay.

We stayed at Depot road as a group of 13 for a hen do and used it as a base to travel into Cardiff. Brilliant accommodation, you won't find cheaper for the quality anywhere around Cardiff, well worth the commute. Spacious, clean and stylish - perfect for our hen night in and plenty of games/drinks before our night out.

Ewan the owner was very helpful. Overall a fab stay and ill definately book again! X

Booked the Depot as the base for a stag do ( gorge walking in the Brecon Beacons in the day, out in Swansea on the Saturday night ) though it would work well for all kinds of groups and families. Choosen partly on location, partly on recommendation. Everybody in the group was extremely impressed, we are talking here the perfect accommodation for this kind of weekend. A brilliant combination of all the practical stuff needed ( great kitchen, tv, barbecue etc ) and fantastic sense of style with great attention to detail. The building itself is completely secure and spacious enough for a group of 10 plus. Cwmafan itself friendly village with good access to the Gower,Brecon Beacons, Cardiff and Swansea

“Top Quality”

Depot Road is a superb base for outdoor adventures. The building has been converted to a very high standard and a lot of thought has been put in to ensure that you have everything that you could possibly need. It's spacious (even for groups of 12 guys), classy and fun. A unique place.

“Perfect group accommodation!”
Reviewed 9 June 2015 for a stay in May 2015

We stayed at Depot Road for a long weekend with a group of friends. After reading the previous reviews, I wondered how the accommodation could match up to all the glowing reviews, but it certainly did.

The accommodation itself is located just outside of Port Talbot in a slightly run down area but don't let this put you off. There is everything you could possibly need to keep you entertained - a gas BBQ, boardgames, books, tv, music system, fully equipped kitchen, table football, air hockey......We were visiting for a walking weekend but could quite happily stayed in the accommodation all day!
The 3 bedrooms included a bunk bed and two single beds (plus a small sofa bed in one). All 3 rooms were en-suite with good showers so there was no queuing in the morning.

We spent one day walking in the Brecon Beacons and the other day walking in the Gower. Very different environments and both just over 30 min drive away which was perfect. There are plenty of local places to eat and the local Indian takeaway knew exactly where to deliver when we phoned up!

A fantastic weekend and we will definitely be back :-)
