We were welcomed by Anita into a beautifully kept, spotlessly clean warm and comfortable house set in its own grounds in the townland of Derryreel. The house was spacious, well equipped and beautifully maintained. Nearby the villages of Dunfanghy and Falcarragh had plenty of interesting shops and eateries and hosted some of the most beautiful scenery Donegal has to offer, a trip round Horn Head is highly recommended! The house is quite remote which suited us perfectly and the wind can whip up quite ferociously, but that is something we loved about the place, and bear in mind we stayed in February! Altogether a wonderful weekend getaway, at a very realistic affordable price, we would definitely stay again, but house would need wi-fi to enable us to stay for longer trips.
We had a fantastic weekend at the cottage Anita greeted us and was very helpful and showed us around. The cottage was immaculate with all the luxuries you could ask for. It is set in the most beautiful surroundings will most definaetly be back.
Arrived on friday afternoon to an amazing little cottage. Anita is so welcoming you will feel comfortable straight away. Cottage is spotless and we couldnt find one fault at all. The views are fantastic and you are completely on your own which is what we like. We were extremley lucky to see wild deers which were amazing to watch. You really must go here. Excellent all round. Thank you very much anita for a brilliant weekend.

Have just spent the most amazing four days at this spotlessly clean and comfortable cottage were we wanted for nothing, from the tea coffee and biscuits to the fresh flowers, coal and logs for those wonderful cosy autumn fires.
We spent days exploring all that this beautiful part of Donegal has to offer from the majestic mountains to the stunning beaches and quaint little pubs with roaring peat and log laden fires. Correspondence with the owners was second to none always available if we needed them. We found
the only downside to staying at Derryreel Cottage is the fact we had to leave.
Will we return.....without doubt
