“Relaxing”
Reviewed 28 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

Had a great relaxing week here with daily walks down to the sea. Plenty of animal life, young foul and mum, three cows with offspring and cats. Cottage compact, everything you need. Emily and Senan, plus mum and dad really helpful. The sun was out all week as well.

“Ideal for exploring the local area”
Reviewed 11 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Hi, Just a quick note on our stay in Goilin Cottage. We had a lovely time & enjoyed our stay immensely. From the cottage we had easy access to Lahinch beach & other local attractions such as Cliffs of Moher, Moher Farm, The Burren. The cottage was as we had expected when booking. It was very cosy & Emily & Senan were very welcoming. Everything you would need was in the cottage, the owner also supplied a travel cot & high chair which saved us bringing our own. Our toddler was delighted greeting the cows in the field beside us every morning. I would highly recommend to anyone to rent as a base to explore the local area. Thanks again Emily & Senan.

“Cosy and comfy and in a gorgeous location”
Reviewed 17 July 2015 for a stay in June 2015

The very smallness was an attraction everything you could want in such a compact space a REAL irish cottage !but with all mod. Cons even wifi!.Beautifully decorated and in a gorgeous location with a beach at the end of the tiny road. How secluded is that.!and to say that the owner was attentive to us when he was getting married in a week shows how kind he was! Congrats Senan and Emily and many thanks! Oh and the cows lining up and looking over the gate every morning was a bonus!

“Fantastic - peace on earth!”
Reviewed 7 July 2015 for a stay in June 2015

We stayed for a week at Goilin Cottage and it was exactly what we were looking for as our holiday home. The rooms were all spotlessly clean and the kitchen was as well equipped as my own! There were only two of us but we found having the spare bedroom very useful for storage of all the holiday paraphernalia. It also has an open fire which we used on one of the chilly evenings. Best of all, was the wonderful location - down a very quiet country lane with the beach at the end (3 minute walk away at the most). It was a drive of less than ten minutes into Lahinch where there are lots of restaurants. In particular, O'Looneys (Waves) has good food and wonderful views of the surfers on the fantastic strand. There is so much to do - highlights for us were the cliff walk from Liscannor to the Visitor Centre at the Cliffs of Moher, a boat trip from Doolin to Inish Oirr (this included a trip right under the cliffs - brilliant views) and of course wandering in the Burren. I would highly recommend this cottage as a base for two people to view this part of Co Clare. Senan and Emily are extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome.

“Cozy Cottage”
Reviewed 7 May 2015 for a stay in April 2015

We had a nice stay at the cottage - very cozy! It's located in a rural area, outside the town of Lahinch, approx. 4-5 km. So a car will be needed! Senan and Emily, the owners, are very nice. You find everything you need in the cottage. It's just a 5 min. walk down to a very nice beach. If you're looking for a quiet place - this is it!
