“Excellent place to stay”
Reviewed 28 January 2016 for a stay in January 2016

This was our second time staying here and, as before, the place is really great. It is clean, modern, quiet and warm - even though it was raining most of the weekend we were very cosy and happy there.

As usual Michael & Sheila were very welcoming and friendly and we had everything we needed from them, including some delicious cake on arrival!

I can definitely recommend this place for anyone to stay.

“Flawless”
Reviewed 2 January 2016 for a stay in December 2015

I can't recommend this apartment enough. It's absolutely spotless, comfortable and has all the facilities you could ask for. Then there are the owner's. Michael & Sheila are 2 of the nicest, friendliest people I have ever met. Even when we arrived at 1am they were up and ready to greet us. Throughout the stay they ensured we had everything we needed. Once again I cannot recommend this apartment enough. Absolutely flawless.

“Perfect apartment and perfect hosts.”
Reviewed 16 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

This lovely apartment exceeded all our expectations. Spacious, spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped it was a perfect place for a relaxing holiday. The location is excellent, with the lovely grounds of Mount Juliet on the doorstep and the pleasant village of Thomastown only a few minutes away. Easy access to Kilkenny, Waterford and the surrounding villages. Sheila and Michael made us feel so welcome - genuinely lovely people. Their advice on the local area was invaluable. If you want somewhere special to stay this is the place, we can thoroughly recommend it. Hope to return again soon.
Thank you Sheila and Michael

“Simply wonderful apartment for self caterers.”
Reviewed 10 September 2015 for a stay in August 2015

This apartment had all you needed; washing machine, wifi, large TV, fully equipped kitchen, undercover off street parking, garden setting and even a bidet and chaise lounge in the huge bathroom. King bed in a large bedroom was comfortable and there were blackout blinds to help you sleep in. The apartment was on two levels. The bedroom, bathroom and dining area/kitchen were upstairs and the lounge with TV, laundry and 2nd toilet on the ground floor. The lovely hosts even put out your national flag as a welcome. Jerpoint Abbey is 10 minutes away by car and worthwhile to visit. Don't hesitate on this one. It's clean, spacious, modern and quiet. A rural setting but only 20 mins to Kilkenny.

“Highlight of our trip!”
Reviewed 24 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

We had a wonderful 2 night stay in Thomastown. Michael and Sheila were wonderful hosts. They were very attentive and even invited us in for coffee and a chat. The house is gorgeous with amazing views and a lovely patio. It's also very quiet and peaceful. The bed is so comfy! We'd take it home if we could. The kitchen is well stocked with quality cookware. We couldn't be happier with our stay here and wish we could stay longer! If we come back to Ireland, this is at the top of our list.
