Lovely large room with a great view. Full irish breakfast was very good but breakfast menu was limited. Negative thing was the cups and saucers at breakfast - quite dirty and very surprising for a hotel.

Plus points great location, underground parking. Gluten free toast options for breakfast.
Clean rooms.
Negatives, we stayed in room 16 which had the noise of what we thought might be the kitchen fan early in the morning. We had to shut the bedroom window early in the morning which then made the room too hot.
11pm the 1st night the bar next door decided to bring wheelie bins up the steps at the side of the hotel. 5 bins banging with bottles in up each step !!!!
2nd night the noise of the bar and people outside until 1am .

Great location and a beautiful town. We would definitely come back but would request a different room

The restaurant was lovely with very tasty food! The dishes were all of a very high standard! The staff are all so lovely, smiley and accommodating. The restaurant also has an amazing view of the coast! It was a lovely visit to the restaurant.

We had originally booked to stay in a B&B a little further up the coast from Cobh, Ireland. But five days before arrival, they cancelled on us and the WatersEdge Hotel became our refuge. In the end we were very glad that the B&B didn't work out because the WatersEdge Hotel exceeded our expectations

We had a lovely room looking out to the bay with cruise ships passing by the window in the morning and the late evening. The room was very quiet, even though the window overlooked the terrace of the Jacob's Ladder restaurant belonging to the hotel. The room was spacious and featured a queensize bed and a single bed, so it's perfect to share with friends. The beds were very comfortable, too. All the facilitites in the room very clean and in excellent shape.

Breakfast offered a wide selection of a continental breakfast, with hot food made to order. We tried the full Irish, eggs benedict and omelette. Everything was delicious. We also had dinner there twice. They have a small menu but that generally speaks to the quality of the kitchen. We weren't disappointed. The Irish mussels in an Asian inspired broth with curry and coconut milk were fantastic!

The staff of both the hotel and restaurant were always very friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a lovely retreat boasting sea views, you'll love this cozy hotel. It's very centrally located in Cobh, just a short walk away from shops and attractions. We would definitely there at the WatersEdge Hotel again.

Room Tip: Best rooms are looking out to the water. Spacious rooms, suitable for three adults (equipped with a queensize bed and a single).
