We loved staying at the hotel. The family suites are fantastic, our boys had their own room so it was lovely peace and quiet for us. Had a lovely kitchenette with everything we needed, kettle, fridge etc. The breakfast every morning was lovely too, catered for us all and the hotel staff were very welcoming and accomodating, we loved our weekend away!

Dear Carissa M,

Thank you so much for your super 5 star review. We are so pleased that you and your family enjoyed your stay with us. Our family suites do get booked up very fast as they are the perfect room type for families that want to get away together. We hope to welcome you back to the hotel again soon.

Kind Regards,
Maritime Management

Unfortunately we had many complaints after our short stay here. No directions to car park. Told our room was ready at check in, to arrive upstairs and find that it wasn’t and still had the previous guests’ things around. Very average dinner. Furniture and finishings not well maintained. Breakfast could only be described as an ordeal, as there was a huge surplus of guests and the waitress roared out room numbers to everyone waiting in the lobby when a table became available. Not enough food, no tea or coffee served, a disorganised show. Will not be returning or recommending.

Dear llauras2014,

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. We are very disappointed to read your comments as this is not the regular feedback we receive from guests that stay with us. During the time of your stay with us there was work being done to our car park entrance, this is now complete with new signage to be erected. We have a traffic light system in operation to advise guests of possible queues and very busy times at breakfast. Our Team here work very hard to deliver our 4 star service and to ensure all of our guests have an enjoyable stay with us.

Kind Regards,
Maritime Management

Despite booking afternoon tea at short notice duty manager Keith o'sullivan couldn't have done more to accommodate us. Not only did he ensure our request was adhered to by the chef he was so friendly and welcoming. The food we got was exceptional and very good value. We regularly go for afternoon tea and this was definitely one of the best. We will be back. Thank you Keith

We spent three nights here, no problems, hotel clean and modern but felt a bit soulless to us, didn’t feel like Ireland at all!! Reception staff efficient but not a smile between the three of them. Most chipper was our maid and she was East European.... Even the bar seemed the bar seemed low key and staid. We probably won’t use it again, other places we have stayed in this part of the world have been far more congenial.....

We booked this hotel as it had good reviews, but it was also available at short notice. A family member had passed away and I advised them of this when booking online. I couldn’t have gone to a better hotel in the circumstances. I had booked a meal, but we were running late due to the removal of the coffin to the church, which took two hours. The hotel was trying to contact me but in those circumstances it was very difficult to talk. We arrived finally an hour late, absolutely starving as we had flown from the UK that afternoon. The staff were fantastic and showed us to our table straight away and within 30 minutes we were eating the most delicious meal. The rooms were extremely comfortable with everything we needed, and extra pillows and hangers provided. I couldn’t fault it and it was def in my top 5 of hotels visited and I travel extensively.
My mother who was shaken by the sad news was so looked after and I wish to thank all the staff for the kindness shown during a difficult time.
I plan to return next year under better circumstances.
