“Stunning location, accommodation and hosts.”

Very hospitable hosts, be hard to find a more accommodating pair, even in Ireland! Beautifully renovated cottage with all amenities to ensure that your stay is comfortable and easy. Surrounding countryside is breath taking, although care must be taken when trevailing off the beaten path as we ourselves found bogs hard to cross! The ten year old daughter had fun hunting around and discovering what was beyond the garden. Highly recommend this area and cottage.

“Beautiful relaxing peaceful retreat with nature!”
Reviewed 29 September 2013 for a stay in September 2013

Wonderful stay here, hosts very friendly and helpful, lovely charming Irish cottage in the middle of stunning countryside. Panoramic views with wildlife on the doorstop! Perfect for touring Ring of Kerry. Be sure to get directions as quite tricky to find but understandable when you see where located! Would recommend to artists, writers and people wanting a break from it all in retreat-style location. Fresh eggs on arrival!

“Very relaxing holiday”
Reviewed 3 August 2013 for a stay in July 2013

This is the perfect base for a sightseeing/beach holiday. The area is beautiful, the people very friendly, sue and Gary are brilliant hosts, giving lots of tips and advice on the local area. The village is very child friendly. Riney's does a very good Irish coffee! O'shea's is excellent for food. The local pharmacist is very helpful. We had an excellent holiday and will def return next year.

“Perfect holiday getaway”
Reviewed 31 July 2013 for a stay in July 2013

We have just returned from Bridget's Cottage and after a week, we could have stayed for another. The cottage is immaculate, a perfect home from home. It is the perfect base to explore the beautiful area. Our 2 year old loved feeding his leftovers to the chickens every day! Sue and Gary are fantastic hosts and gave really helpful advice on the local area. The Mace in the village has all the essentials and there are 2 brilliant butchers and a lovely bakers. I would recommend stocking up on beer/wine in the Lidl in Killarney before you get to Sneem. The local beaches are beautiful. A perfect, relaxing family holiday!
