Went for lunch in scorching weather. A cute place with delicious food and a good wine list. I had fish and chips - sounds basic but really good - and the service was good and friendly. The only things missing were a few parasols! They would have been very welcome for those of us who chose to sit outside. We’ll definitely return.

This is a very reasonable and very varied menus it’s not that large so you would need to call ahead to make sure a table is available the wines are priced very comparabled.

A nice walk from Clifden brings you to this spot (or drive there is a car park but the walk is worth it).
The view is amazing, its very quiet except for the strains of some very well chosen mood music.
The Terrace or indoors are both equally charming and even worth the visit if only for a drink.
But to miss the food would be a mistake.
I'll be back very soon. Already looking forward to it.

On the hottest day of the year in May, at lunchtime, it was closed. What a nonsense. The sign on the door said something silly like gone our for a while. Walked all the way from Clifden with local promises of a lovely lunch.
