My sister and I booked the afternoon tea on a foggy Saturday afternoon and were amazed by this charming Georgian country house. Aside from the delicious, more than filing tea for only 25€ per person we loved the setting and overall charm of the estate. We enjoyed a walk around the grounds which include a flower garden, orchard and a large family of boisterous pigs. If you're lucky enough not to be driving you can enjoy locally produced apple cider and apple brandy.

Dinner at Longueville House is more like an experience than just a meal. It is situated at the end of a long winding gravelly driveway, surrounded by interesting grounds with views of surrounding fields and hills. The staff are very friendly and helpful and immediately make you feel welcome and relaxed. You can walk the grounds, enjoy a drink at the bar and retire to the drawing room for your canapes. After dinner, you can enjoy a drink outside. The food was beautifully presented and fresh. My only fault is that the coffee could have been better. There was very little in the cup, too much and too weak to be an espresso and too strong and little to be an americano or a filter. Overall, everything was well worth what we paid for it and we look forward to returning.

Went here on a family occasion. The interior is beautiful, very nice decor and lovely Longueville House Cider made in their orchards right outside. However, the food was poor. I had the beetroot risotto and it was terribly bland. My sister had the fish and also thought it was quite poor and tasteless. Very average food, its a pity because the outlet is so lovely. I was expecting much better. Disappointing visit.

There is no better place in Cork for afternoon tea. The relaxed and beautiful surroundings of Longueville House is a definite treat to get away from it all and enjoy the most beautiful afternoon tea with ingredients from Longueville itself. Highly recommended.

We called to Springfort Hall on a Tuesday evening about 4.30 & decided to eat in the Bar. The setting here is really relaxed in a Country House. Service was homely & friendly. We both had the Featherblade of Beef which is to die for. We have had it before & it was ever so good. My wife had the bread & butter pudding which she really enjoyed. A fantastic experience being able to see The Autumnal colour through the large windows. Ten out Ten
