Staying nearby, we were offered a window seat although they were busy. This is high quality food with outstanding service and we had a wonderful time. I had the fillet of plaice starter which was two fillets and almost main course size. Perfectly cooked. My wife had smoked duck starter and asked for it not pink. A crime in most "posh" restaurants it came just right although chef may have been cutting his wrists. Customer get what they want. GOOD. We noticed a single woman at the next table asked for two starters only. No problem. Wonderful. For mains we had monkfish and duo of pork. None of this smears and a small portion. It was generous and beautifully cooked and presented. My monk fish was two large pieces and a nice struggle to finish which I did. A shared selection of veggies come with it although it is not clear on menu; no extra sides needed. Could not manage pud especially as cheese looked interesting. Bill was Euro 77 including a glass of wine. Good value. Slight mix up over bill paid by card in sterling rather than euros. when asked for latter. Soon sorted. Do go, highly recommended.

This was our third and last eating spot of a long weekend and the other 2 had been very good so a lot to live up to
Location! Can’t be beaten especially on a very warm sunny night ! You look out onto the beach ! And what a sunset
Food
Not a massive menu but I like that means all fresh all of our starters were amazing I had the place which melted in the mouth
For manis we all went for Beef Blade which was amazing and just melted ( no need for knifes ) it was the best meal of the weekend
Staff
Ok it’s me !!!! But staff need to step up a bit ! In fairness it was a hot night and quiet a few party’s in ( some very trying!!!!) but that’s not my problem SMILE ! And it’s supposed to be fine dining so mobile phones stuck out of waitresses back pocket not ideal ! A uniform would be a big boost
We will be back !!

Brought hubby and kids here for Sunday lunch. Place was buzzing with other diners. We had reservations and were seated immediately. The service was excellent. The food was to die for. Hubby received a gift as we left...nice touch.

My husband, two friends and I went to eat in The Waterfont tonight and had a very tasty meal with very nice touches such as a very tasty Bouche amuse and choice of homemade breads made on the premises. I had the pork fillet which was delish and the men the beef. My friend had the chicken with potato dumplings which was scrumpy. The side of sweet potato fries were very crispy. The waitresses very pleasant and attentive although I thought the new owner Dan could have been more upfront as it was our second visit there in 2 days. The chef is excellent with imaginative use of flavours.
