The view, people around, good vibe around the whole town. Get here for the Dingle Marathon and surprised with the good organisation. All needed information provided. Almost acros the road with the hotel where we stay.

Dingle is lovely, on the marina all the colourful houses with jolly tonalities. Local people are very nice and welcoming, there are shops for any kind of interest . Dingle can be pretty busy but it's relatively easy to find car space. Dingle also has a very nice bookshop that I suggest to visit.

The port village that gives it name to the peninsula is a tourist-mecca and for good reason: the town is picture-perfect, with brightly coloured shops and pubs winding their way down to the harbour.

It is very touristy—I’ve not heard so many American accents since I lived in New Jersey—but it’s a place that you must visit if you’re in this part of Ireland.

There are so many landmark pubs that are worth the visit (Foxy Johns, Dick Mack’s etc.), almost making it a theme park for Dads and the Diaspora, but check out some of the modern takes on Irish cuisine such as Out Of The Blue, the stunning fish restaurant down on Waterside.

Ironically, the quietest part of the town was around its heart: the harbour, which is a beautifully landscaped area offering peaceful panoramas of Dingle, the mountains and the bay.

This is a nice walk in the evening. You can watch the ships coming in and birds swimming around. If you take any boat tours, you will also leave from here. It is small but fits the town perfectly.
