We had a lovely stay here. The two female hosts are very nice and make you feel very welcome. We were welcomed with coffee, tea and cake on our arrival. This B&B has a cute garden next to a stream. The rooms are fine but maybe some new matrasses and carpet would make them even better. It's a little out of town but that makes it nice and quiet. The breakfast omelette with feta and spinach was very tasty and the pancakes with fruit also ok.

We arrived near Kenmare after a very long day of walk on the Kerry Way, thoroughly exhausted and a little lost, as we couldn't find An Bruachan! As it was getting late I called Julia to let her know we'd be almost there and to ask for directions, and she very kindly proposed to come pick us up and later gave us a ride into town so that we could get dinner before everything closed. No need to say Julia takes very good care of her guests! Our room was nice and spacious, the bed comfortable, and breakfast was good (pancakes with fruits! a welcome change after many Irish breakfasts!). Thanks for everything!

We spent three days at Au Bruachan and loved every minute. Eithne was our kind and generous host. She greeted us warmly and showed us around. She made us amazing breakfasts and shared tips on touring the area. The inn is comfortable, tidy, cozy and affordable. It’s blocks from charming Kenmare village. We highly recommend.

Our hostess was pure joy! Wish I could have stayed longer to get to know her. She made sure we were comfortable. It’s a homey atmosphere. Breakfast was out of this world! Had pancakes with fruit. The fruit in Ireland is unbelievable! The tastes are so perfectly sweet. Didn’t need any syrup or butter for those pancakes.

Julia welcomed us graciously into her home, and our stay at An Bruachan was memorable. Our room was sizable and the bed comfortable, but the bathroom certainly exceeded my expectations. The shower was roomy, and the water pressure was wonderful! Our room was a wee bit chilly, but we found a heavy comforter in the wardrobe to make our sleep extra cozy. Breakfast was delicious! The home and property were so pretty, I wish we could have stayed more nights!
While in Kenmare, we dined at PF McCarthy’s and had a lovely experience.
