This is the most unusual cottage we stayed in till date: original, well preserved, yet with many modern conveniences. The only disatvange to some may be the lack of heating, except for the hearth in the main room. The night in the bedroom can be really cold. To get hot water you must turn the gas heating on which is very expensive and you don't really feel the difference in the house itself. But this is an original 400 years old cottage after all, so no complaints. We enjoyed staying there very much and would definitely go back. The keeper of the cottage is a wonderful person, very helpful, we could give her a call anytime we needed. I have only one complaint: paying 30 euro for the wi-fi code. The past few years we have stayed in at least several different cottages, sometimes we paid for the electricity and water, sometimes not. But seriously: after receiving 800 euro for one week in the cottage (the most expensive one we had till date) is there really a need of requesting additional money for wi-fi, which btw works only in the main room? 30 euro for one week, while I pay this amount for the whole month at home?
