The paths are well defined unless you go off "the beaten track" but that's half the fun. Signposts and points of interest dotted throughout the woods.

Great place to take the dogs, however very muddy due to the recent weather.
Make sure you wear boots as you will get muddy.

Only down side is that there are no dog poo bins around the paths. This leads to inconsiderate dog owners either not cleaning up after their dogs, or just discarding the bags.

I like it because it's very peaceful, really allows you to get lost in the feeling of being part of something else.

Beautiful walk, lots of lovely spots and views. Great place for den building. Lots of sticks to forage. Well maintained paths. Some good climbs. Really great walk

I use to take my children every half term to the woods to collect things to make things to enjoy a walk now it's full of poo everywhere on the paths on the sides. I have now stopped going because of this, people with dogs are not considerate do not clean up after them and it's ruining the woods,
Not a nice place to visit now
