friendly and personal welcome at arrival.

Beautifully located in a cul-de-sac in a quiet wooded neighborhood with many old trees. Super safe with private parking.

The layout of this guesthouse is very spacious, modern and guarantees privacy and comfort. We booked a deluxe room en suite and that's what we got. Good beds, spacious room, a nice separate sitting area equipped with every comfort. A nice bathroom, for sure. Despite water scarcity in Johannesburg, we found it a very pleasant experience.

The manager and her son are hospitable and very customer-friendly. They even took us to a restaurant the same evening we arrived and brought us back to the guesthouse later on for security reasons! Really very special to meet such committed and nice hosts in a B&B. Manager Ruby is a real angel. Thanks again.

Recommended address. This guesthouse deserves much more patronage in these difficult times. We'll be back!

      Amazing Stay at 7th Street Guesthouse

      Had an absolutely amazing stay at the 7th street Guesthouse. The staff is not only amazing but also very friendly. The food was absolutely phenomenal and can wait to go back and visit them again. Didn't even feel like I'm in Joburg were so relaxing. Would definitely recommend it to anyone else so go and stay here.

      Beautiful

      Its in a quiet area and I was welcomed very well but the room was not as clean as I expected, the helpers are a bit loud and 1 was rude towards me. The food was exceptional but I enjoyed my stay and it closer to a few stalls in Melville.

      Great place for small, intimate meetings!

      I landed at 1am and the guard at the guesthouse welcomed me. He was very friendly. My room was great too! The owner was absolutely lovely, and breakfast and lunch were superb! The desserts - gosh! Can't be better! Generally a really nice place to stay and have meetings for a small group. I loved the fact that there was an entrance that took you directly to Melville - the hippie space that I really liked! I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

      Room tip: Rooms away from the main entrance are probably quieter.

      Great Guest House with Awesome Manager

      Awesome place. Stayed there over the weekend during a difficult time for our family. The manager went over and above to accommodate our large group. We really appreciate her extra efforts when our arrangements changed at the last moment. Your are a lovely person Lizelle.

      Excellent place for a quick weekend in JHB

      Stayed over for a quick trip to Johannesburg absolutely loved it! Rooms a big and spacious with excellent beds, breakfast is massive and really tasty and the owner and staff is always willing to assist where needed.
      Melville it self is also a great location with loads of great restaurants and pubs if that is your thing
