“5* retreat in a beautiful rural stetting”

When we arrived after a long journey from Scotland, we really did not know what to expect...but the Old Stable delivered everything we were looking for, from the stunning setting, the accommodation was just perfect, from the really comfy bed, to the fresh flowers on the table and in the bedroom, the eye to detail was just spot on. You are just minutes from Longleat safari park and house, and have a great restaurant with in walking distance, we really could not have pick a better place to spend our holiday.

“Relaxing weekend”
Reviewed 13 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

The Old Stable was a relaxing base for exploring the area and meeting friends to visit Longleat.. The accommodation was as described, very comfortable with lovely rural views.
The welcome on arrival was friendly and Brownies fresh from the oven were a bonus.

Lovely holiday cottage - former stable away from the main house - tastefully restored and decorated. We stayed at Christmas and delighted to find real Christmas tree awaiting us. The log burner was lovely too. Luxurious bedding & towels. Very modern bathroom. So nice to find such a luxurious place that is so well kept that is also dog friendly. Nice enclosed garden with lovely view. Easy walk to lovely local pub/restaurant The Bath Arms and so much to see and do on the door step - we cant wait to return!
