A taste of authentic Provence in beautiful and luxurious surrounding which is very hard to beat. We've been here on and off for twenty years and have no plans to stop. The family love it so much that our daughter is getting married there?
Traditional Provenceal setting, think olive groves, lavender bushes, vineyards, even a great yard for boules! But the house itself has been fully refurbished so you won't be without modcons or creature comforts. Swimming pool is in a great spot with a sun terrace. Visiting the vineyard next door is a must, it's got a good visitors centre, generous samples and you'll probably end up with the delicious rosé, which is great for on the terrace back at Maison Lambot. The surrounding area is picturesque good just for strolling around, but if you're feeling a bit more adventurous you can rent canoes nearby. The area is also good for bike riding, both on and off road. The village itself is quaint and friendly, and there are galleries and musuems to discover in the surrounding area. The hosts are cool, helpful without being fussy. All in all a good gateway into Provence, I missed out on going last year, but I'm booked in to stay again this year!
This room is perfect, beautiful view from the window, private and quiet at night. The beds are very comfortable, and the room is beautifully decorated. The bathroom is great - wonderful big hot shower with great water pressure.
The house itself is gorgeous, with an amazing big pool and olive grove in the garden, picturesque little village a short stroll away with bakery and a wine-makers making wine from the vineyards that surround the place.
Wonderful walking to be done, and lots of activities and lovely little towns to visit in the surrounding area.
Hosts are friendly, helpful, speak perfect English and really make the stay easy.
Recommended for families, couples and groups of friends. Absolutely wonderful place for an idyllic holiday!
I have stayed in this stunning ensuite room in Maison Lambot twice now and cannot recommend it more. The furniture is quality, classic and charming and the bed very comfortable. The view looks out onto the courtyard and vineyards, and through the trees you can just about make out the pool!
The ensuite bathroom is a real selling point with a massive, spacious and luxurious shower.
The house and grounds are stunning and well-cared for. This is a really special and exclusive place to relax and soak up the South of France. The Village of Montfort is so quaint and idyllic and there is so much to do a short drive or walk away: markets, restaurants, kayaking, hiking, shopping etc.
Highly recommended! I will definitely be back.
