We were told of this restaurant by some friends who lived on the island. It was so good we went there a few times during our stay

We had the Meze on both occasions and the food was fantastic, some of the best Cypriot food I have ever had and there was so much of it!

The Meze was really good value around 20-25 euros per person and was far better and fresher than any we had near Paphos harbour!

All the food was freshly prepared and the whole Meze wasn't rushed and the gap between the dishes was perfect.

The meat was amazing and the lamb just melted in the mouth! I have never had a Meze with so much food, but also how great the quality of it was.

We had 2 chicken with us and the portion sizes were fantastic and they both enjoyed their meals!

The Taverna is set up in the hills and the views are stunning, it's well worth going there for a meal whilst watching the sun sets.

The Taverna is around a 15 minute drive from Paphos or Peyia and is situated away from the tourist areas, which in part gives this place it's magic!

We were blown away by how good the food and service was and was so glad we went back there on our last night as we were able to end our amazing holiday in Cyprus with a fantastic meal!

We have been going to Melitzia now every year for over 20 years starting when they were in the market square in Tala.
Over the years it has retained the atmosphere and quality of food that got us to be regulars then. It is without doubt the best Taverna not only in Tala but the whole Pahos region. We have a villa in Zelemenos and have been tomany places on others recommendations none have completed with both he food and price.
You will never be disappointed by a visit there
