“A very good stay”
Reviewed 29 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

A thoroughly enjoyable stay - the chapel is very well equipped, and provides for a comfortable and cosy holiday. Located in Juniper, it is very convenient for local walks + trips to Hadrian's Wall, Hexham and several picturesque towns.
The owners were very friendly, unobtrusive; and provided us with beautiful free range eggs, flapjack and chocolate cake. - All in all, a very nice stay.

I'm so pleased you had a good week at the chapel despite the unseasonably cold weather which included snow and hail.

“Relaxation in a Top Location”
Reviewed 12 April 2016 for a stay in March 2016

Fabulous setting in charming countryside. Catherine and husband are the most welcoming of people - the chocolate fudge cake, which greeted us on arrival was polished off in no time, not to mention the delicious flapjacks. To the joy of our daughters there were two lovely ponies, Spider and Spice, who came to say hello every morning and loved being fed the carrots left on the doorstep by Catherine. Then there was the daily egg collecting for daddy`s prompt consumption. The Chapel is a strategic starting point for exploring Hexhamshire, Durhamshire and the North sea coast - it is located on the edge of the Roman Empire. The market town of Hexham, only a few miles down the road, also has plenty to offer including a wonderful abbey, an art deco cinema and a farmers market. There are also plenty of good pubs nearby if you don't fancy cooking at home, although the Chapel was always a cosy place to return to after a day of site seeing.
This is nothing less than a slice of Paradise.
