The pub itself is quite nice but I don't feel the food is up to par.
I would say it's about average and sometimes not great

We visited yesterday for Father's Day, it was nice to see the pub busy again, we were greeted by the new manager Dan and was shown to our table, the staff were on top form and very friendly and helpful and some went out of their way to accommodate us, there was a slight wait for food but this was understandable due to the amount of diners in the pub! Food was lovely and ample portions to fill us up for the rest of the day.
There was a great atomosphire and the diners were being very well organised to see them have a good time during their meals!
I would highly recommend a visit to others, I have read bad reviews for the meadowlark but I couldn't fault it!
Top notch services, super staff and lovely food.
We had a lovely time here and dad had a great Father's Day.

We used to visit The Meadowlark a lot but never again.Since the recent changes in Management and the refurbishment, the number of waiting and kitchen staff has been drastically reduced and this has badly affected the running of the kitchen and waiting times have lengthened noticeably.
The menu is more limited and only two vegan options. No sirloin or rump steaks or bacon available when we visited. The quality of the food is poorer, a pizza had to be sent back because the dough smelt 'off' and this was taken off our bill.A replacement came ...eventually. Portion sizes were extra small and three of the meals ordered didn't really match the menu descriptions.Meals were served luke-warm.
If the new Management or the Company itself is hoping to recoup some of its financial losses from running the 2 for 1 meal deals for so long then (like us as a family last night ) it's looking like they will be very disappointed.

Absolute shambles no soft drinks on tap some of the lager was off only about 20 people in the whole place and waitress said about 40-50 mins for main meals , used to be a regular but since it was revamped the place has gone to pot
