Hotel Le Tremplin

On arrival you are greeted by the lovely ladies on the reception that will help you in anything you want. They are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They will arrange your ski pass and give you a healthy discount from the shop almost next door. The never stopped smiling.

They will also open up the sauna and steam area but it is rather small. Takes about 20 minutes to warm up but I'd leave it 30.

We stayed on the first floor with an open balcony. A great view up to the Pleney and an amazing view of the women’s night ski race on the Tuesday. Great to wake up to in the morning if the sun is shining.

That said, best go to the bar downstairs really. The Rooms were a little small but we were expecting that. They could do with removing the table and chairs out of the room to make more space to move around in. It was so tight. That said, the rooms were clean and the chamber maids were fine to come back later if you needed some more time.

The breakfast was normal continental breakfast with all that you could need really.

The bar is busy during apres ski but then dead after that. Everybody just leaves, goes home and then comes out later. In fact all bars are pretty empty between 7 and 9:00. It’s a great apres ski bar right at the foot of the mountain. Good service.

The only issue with the music in my opinion is they need to take a leaf out of the Austrian book. Listening to two older blokes on guitars was not good. They were quite talented (I suppose) but just could not get the party started. It was quite dreadful at times. Play upbeat music and keep the vibe going…….

In the evening, remember to obtain your code for the door to the side. The hotel reception closes and you need this to get in. If you haven’t, I’d expect you’d be left outside.

All in all, if you are going away with your mates and you want a great location in Morzine, then this is good.

Room Tip: Room on the front with the Pleney View

Just returned from a long ski weekend stay at Le Tremplin.

There were 7 of us in total. The rooms are very basic and very small (we had 2 twins and a triple). Having said that, those on the mountain side have great views of the slopes.

It's expensive to eat and drink here, and during apres ski, be prepared to wait sometime for service as the hotel bar get's a big crowd due to it's location.

Talking of location, it's perfect. literally yards away from the Gondola and you can ski down into the bar (almost). A good mix of families and groups stay here.

Cannot fault the staff, the most friendliest I've experienced in France and will go out of their way to make your stay pleasant.

Great breakfast and service. Good facilities including steam room and sauna.

Room Tip: If you want a quieter experience go with rooms that are not facing the slope

Went here with some business colleagues in March 2018. The location is good, but be warned the rooms are compact. Breakfast is included, but the prices are over-inflated for what you get. So long as you are prepared for a snug experience, then all well and good. But don't expect a five star experience.

The rooms are quite retro and small... but that is not the point.

You are next to the ski lift, slopes, apres ski and restaurants.

Good cocktails and dj.

Lovely staff, good breakfast and car parking !

An enjoyable stay.

The whole team were amazing, in particular Patricia on reception. Room was small, but comfortable. The location of the hotel is amazing & apres ski at the hotel is fabulous.

Will definetly re-visit...

Room Tip: The small rooms are small, so check what size room you really want/need.
