2 years, 2 stays and every bit as good second time as first time! Great location, 5-10 min walk to either Pleney or Super Morzine lifts. Food fantastic. Warm and cosy rooms. Friendly, attentive and accommodating staff, particularly Cedric, make the stay a real home from home. Thank you!

Have just returned from a short 4 day end of season skiing trip staying at the Bel ‘Alpe. We had a bit of an issue with the booking via Booking.com but the hotel were fantastic and sorted everything out before we arrived.

The hotel is superbly situated for both the Pleney and Super Morzine lifts, about 5 minutes walk to both. In the evening it is a very short walk to numerous good restaurants and bars.

The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and the bedroom I had was perfect for a short trip. Nice balcony, comfy bed, room serviced everyday including clean towels and toiletries were provided.

The breakfast was great and included a good range of cereal, fruit, pancakes, bread, eggs, bacon, beans, sausages, fruit juices and freshly made tea or coffee.

The staff are awesome, so friendly and always greeted us with a smile. The two guys that ran front of house are a credit to the hotel and couldn’t have been more accommodating to any of our requests.

Would definitely book again if returning to Morzine.

What a great place to stay. The accomodation is clean and up to date. Our room (15) was facing the slopes with two beds pulled together which were comfortable at a king size and 2 bunk beds opposite the bathroom.
Cedric and Thomas provide breakfast and dinner service and with their professional and attentive service mixed with some light hearted fun made our week.
I would honestly say this is the best food I've had on a ski trip, ever and I have been going for 30 years.
The hotel is situated around 6 mins walk from the Pleney Lift and 5 mins walk from the Super Morzine. Once on the Super Morzine you can be in Avoriaz in 30-40 mins or take the bus to the Les Prodains lift to be there in about the same time.
Did I mention how good Cedric and Thomas were....I also have to thank the folks behind the scenes who work hard to give us the great time we had and particularly to the chief for his many home made soups and creations that were so appealing that now I have to lose a few pounds!!

We stayed at Bel'Alpe for one week in March, 2019 as part of a package through Sunweb which included our lift passes, equipment and half board. We arrived just after 9 pm due to transfer delays and we were incredibly impressed that the staff prepared a 5 course meal for us even though the kitchen was closing!

Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Our room was on the 4th floor with a balcony overlooking the piste. The room was quite large with a large King size bed (two twins connected) in the main room and two bunk beds in a separate area with sliding doors that allow you to separate the two areas. The bathroom has a bathtub and the toilet is in a separate room. Plenty of closet space and hangars. There is a hairdryer in the room as well as plush bathrobes and slippers-nice touches! The room has a flat screen tv and includes several English speaking channels (BBC). We were on the 4th floor and found the wi-fi to be very good. We were able to stream Netflix and use Skype to chat with our family, for example.

The bar and lounge areas are lovely and there are several different sitting areas so that groups can sit together and have their own space. There is even a piano if you fancy playing a tune:)

The basement has a sauna, game room (pool table, table games, ping pong, etc). There is also a ski storage room with plenty of boot warmers for all the guests and racks to store skis and poles. The location of Bel'Alpe is perfect for accessing both the Super Morzine lift and the Pleney lift which are a short walk away.

The food was absolutely AMAZING!!! Breakfast is a buffet. Dinner is served in 5 courses and we noticed that staff were really good about substituting items for guests who didn't like certain foods. Every single meal was incredible with good variety throughout the week-pork, beef, lamb, fish, etc. You also have the option to request a fondue which replaces the main course by letting the staff know one day in advance. I would highly recommend choosing half board-you won't be disappointed-the quality is very high and you will save a fortune over going out to eat. There were lots of really thoughtful touches like a welcome Tequila Sunrise and a farewell toast with a complimentary drink of Genepi cordial.

The staff make this amazing hotel even better! Thomas and Cedric are so professional, friendly and helpful as is the manager, Francis. We had a great time chatting with them and they take a genuine interest in their guests. The service is exceptional. We will absolutely stay at Bel'Alpe again. I cannot think of a single thing that I would change!

Just to give you an idea of the cost: our package through SunWeb included 7 days at Bel'Alpe with half board, 6 day extended area lift pass and upgraded skis/poles for 2 people for a total of £1700!

This is our second visit, firstly as a couple and now as a family. We absolutely love this hotel. The location is brilliant for central Morzine. It's super clean and warm. The rooms are slightly on the small side - but adds to the cosiness. Cedric and Thomas the waiters/ bar staff are brilliant characters. For the money you really can't go wrong.
