We have just spent two nights in Cowleaze Cottage and would just like to say that we can't really add anything to the previous review other than saying that Arthur and Janice have such a beautiful garden and we were so fortunate with the weather to be able to take our coffee outside. The breakfast menu was a delight and so varied. Arthur and Janice are wonderful hosts and we hope to return. Highly recommended.

Have just returned from a two day stay in Dorset at this great b and b. New last year, and beautifully decorated. Halfway between Dorchester and Weymouth, in the middle of glorious unspoilt countryside, with amazing views just a short drive away.
Just the one guest suite, very private in its own 'wing' - large bedroom with twin or double bed (very comfortable), sitting area, good sized digital tv, sky, and a dvd player...tea/coffee table - with full sized teapot and homemade biscuits...on a quiet lane, and we didn't notice any passing traffic at all (apart from the cows we followed one morning from the farm down the lane!). The bathroom is luxurious and large, with a roll top bath and also a walk in shower. Cotton waffle bathrobes were a welcome bonus. ..and there is a 'dressing room' area between bedroom and bathroom.
On the ground floor, so good for slightly disabled guests too (?).
Janice and Arthur were friendly and very helpful hosts, and the breakfasts were delicious - with lots of choices and different little extras each morning.
Arthur offers holistic massage etc., too, though sadly no time to try this...
Don't know if they take children, but could fit an extra 'put-u-up' in easily.
The area is really lovely, with lots to see and do close by.
Highly recommended - we hope to return!
