With a magnificent setting, and easy to find, the hostess is a true character and very welcoming.

Breakfast was excellent, and taken at the front of the house with a stunning view.

Bedroom was comfortable, and had a very restful night's sleep. Great to have a proper bath, in a separate bathroom, though I'd suggest using frosted glass in the window when this is next replaced.

The hostess was also very accommodating when I asked to collect something I had left behind.

We had the opportunity to stay here for a couple of nights. We were greeted by Margaret Williams, the very friendly landlady. We chose to stay in the 'pink' room. We knew that we would have a nice view of the Glaslyn estuary, but was absolutely blown away when we were shown into our room with the huge bay window. We were lucky enough to have nice weather, and the views over to Ffestiniog, the Moelwyn mountains and Cnicht were just amazing. The whole house had a lovely homely atmosphere and the room was so clean, spacious, cosy and comfortable. Even two big armchairs in the window to admire the view. The shower room was a bit on the small side, but was adequate for our requirements. good shower with lots of hot water.
There are no fancy toiletries, and yes, there may be Tesco carrier bags used as bin liners, but how trivial these things seem when you have the pleasure of staying in such a beautiful house in a most delightful part of Wales.
Breakfast consisted of cereals and cooked breakfast. All prepared as you like it by Margaret herself, and the breakfast room overlooked the estuary also. Served at 8,30am each morning.
We thought it unusual that we did not get a front door key, and had to be in the establishment by 10.30pm. This may be a problem for some people but not us. It was so peaceful and relaxing to sit in the bay with a glass of wine and a watch the yachts and sailing boats passing by.
An evening meal can be booked at 'The Moorings' which is just a few mins stroll from Bron Afon. The food there is excellent.
If you want a relaxing break 'away from it all' in a stunning location, this is the place to be.
Value for money? It can't be beaten! I just can't wait to return.

Room Tip: Pink or green room for fab views

We had the opportunity to stay with Margaret in this beautiful peaceful setting in North Wales. The B&B overlooks the Glaslyn Estuary and has incredible views as the massive tide comes in and out. It is ideally located for visiting Tremadog, Snowdonia as well as Portmeirion.

This is a small very homey B&B that offers both rooms and a cottage. Breakfast was excellent.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Pink Room with excellent views of the estuary

We had a lovely 3 night stay here
We were in the room is at the front (pink room) with fabulous views of the sea
The room was quiet, peaceful and very comfortable
2 armchairs which you don't always get in a double room
The en suite is small but don't let that put you off
The coastal path is right outside and the little harbour is lovely
The host was really friendly and helpful and I would recommend this B&B to everyone

Friendly host, comfy room with fantastic views across the traeth and an excellent breakfast. TV and WI FI available. Some great walks on the coastal path in both directions toward Black Rock sands or to Porthmadog.
