A wonderfully restful 10 days. The pool was a delight for us and the children, meals on the terrace in the secluded garden and great views from the house across to the mountains. The three bedroom accommodation was clean and cool, feeling spacious for six of us. A well equipped kitchen leading to the garden. Plenty to explore in the area with friendly local towns incl. restaurants and places to visit. There is even a local bar two minutes walk away. It's miles from anywhere (well airports & cities) - well worth the drive however.
We were taking a split holiday - some time at the beach on the Costa Del Sol and some time in the mountains of Andalucia. I travelled with my husband and two teenage daughters. The owners greeted us and showed us around their farmhouse which they personally restored to a beautiful standard. There was a welcome pack of water, wine, chutney and marmalade, and some pantry basics. The beds are comfortable and the wood fireplace kept us taosty warm on the cooler nights. Outside is a very pretty garden with fruit trees and herbs. The patio is bright and well maintained with a coal barbeque. The pool was open though a little cold in April so we enjoyed sunbathing instead.
We loved having Wifi. Keeps us in business and the teenagers happily connected to friends. We travelled the area a little enjoying walking around local towns and seeing the caves in which some local people still live. It is an outstandingly beautiful area. My daughters enjoyed walking and adventuring. We will come back and stay here and certainly stay longer next time. Wonderfully comfortable and very considerate English and Spanish speaking hosts.
