The house was spotless, with lovely decor and everything to hand. The bed was very comfy. Kilmihil is a lovely village and the people are so friendly. The pubs are great for the craic and the chippers is deadly. I highly recommend the Church View you will not be disappointed.

This house is fully equiped even for a bigger group. Centrally located in a quiet and unspoilt village with pubs and shops just a couple of steps away. This is an ideal base for exploring County Clare and I could not recommend it more.

“This is a wonderful place for a family stay!”

My family of six, including three older teens and one 11 year old, stayed in Church View together with two young adult friends, and we all loved it! I don't even know where to begin in describing our experience. Anne was a wonderful host to work with, even before we arrived. There was a bottle of wine, fresh scones and other niceties awaiting us in this beautiful home.

The kitchen was well stocked with basics, such as tea, sugar, milk, and butter as well as pots, pans and serving ware of all sorts. The table was large enough to comfortably seat our entire group for family meals, and the patio was lovely for outside dining.

The entire house is just perfect, really. We had sizable bedrooms, each with comfortable furnishings, plenty of bathrooms, a cozy lounge, wifi... Honestly, anything we might have wished for in a home-away-from-home was available to us.

Kilmihil itself is a friendly village, quiet and well placed for travelling to other parts of the country. The town has grocery shopping, petrol, pubs, and a post office; it's very convenient not to have to travel into the big town, but, to be able to tend to daily needs with just a short walk.

Church View is nicely decorated, with a peaceful air that relaxes you as soon as you enter the door. The appliances, including washer and dryer, are all modern and it's so nice to have them available. Our entire experience was just exactly what we had hoped for, and we'd happily book again, on future trips!

“The Perfect Place to Be!”

We stayed with our (USA) neighbors who had rented the Church View for a month. Our stay was only for 9days. Sorry to say that that was not enough time!! The place was excellent, as well as the Fiddle Head across the street and the warm brown bread every morning from the bakery a few doors down. This is the perfect place to be to be able to venture out on day trips and be able to come back to a warm and comfortable place for the evening.

“Fabulous”

This property is well located in the centre of Kilmihil. It is on the main street. The property is filled with high quality fittings. Ann was a great landlady, providing tea/coffee/milk/cereal/bread on arrival, there was even a welcome bottle of wine and a log fire starter pack!. I cannot recommend this property enough.

The house is on 3 floors most rooms are ensuite.

There is a patio area with secure gated parking, which easily managed to store 6 motorcycles.

The only downside is locating it in the first instance, we could not see any names on the house. But if you have a picture its easy enough to spot opposite the fiddle head pub.

Kilmihil itself does not have any restaurants, so you will need to eat out. That said there is a shop a few doors up which is a mini supermarket with hot food available. There is a petrol station in the village with a shop attached and again hot food available for takeaway. There is a takeaway in the village and a chinese takeaway who deliver only a phone call away. There is also a pharmacy in the village should the need arise.

There are 3 pubs in the village, and the locals are all really friendly. Kilmihil is a good central location for exploring the main sites of southern ireland. We were able to do Killarney and the Ring of Kerry in a single day. Although to do this you need to use the Shannon Ferry to Tarbert. Tickets are cheaper online however. Its a 20minute crossing.
