Where to start? We arrived early after following the clearly marked signs pointing towards Fossa Blues. We were a little early , however our host Sonya not only prepared a table outside with the most spectacular view but also brought refreshments to sip on whilst taking in the view. We had heard nothing but good things so had high expectations and were not disappointed. Fortunately we only ordered the antipasti plate for one which came with a variety of meats and cheeses including the spectacular local Fossa cheese. Make sure you ask about the process in which it is made. Having been traveling around for some time now we both had a craving fore a burger and without a doubt this was the best burger ever. Rather than a conventional burger , we went for the Cinghial ( wild boar) which came with caramelised onions, pear which had been prepared in a red wine jus and lots of other yummy stuff. If you have never tried something like this I can highly recommend this is a great place to start. Pricing was fantastic, a small but comprehensive wine list and a view to die for on top of awesome food made this an exceptional experience. Next time we need to leave room for dessert! Make sure to book ahead and request a table on the terrace or on the grassed area outside
