We live around the corner and were keen to give Angelo's a go as it is so local and we feel the area is missing a decent Italian restaurant. On walking in the atmosphere was excellent, really buzzing and like a Saturday night (on a Monday). Our order was taken quickly and we were given advice about our courses on request. The service here is very personal and that is one of the things my boyfriend and I enjoyed the most about the experience (along with the food!). We had garlic bread to share and then a starter and main course each, along with a Peroni each and the bill came to £40 (excl tip). The courses are quite big and all the food was red hot, good quality and served on hot plates. Fantastic and we will absolutely return to Angelo's.

Food and service very good for a local restaurant. Lovely atmosphere although slightly small. Suggest booking. Would visit again.

So went to Angelos for the first time since it opened with friends for dinner. I can say i enjoyed it and would recommend to anyone that enjoys dining out locally in Whitefield or Prestwich. I would personally recommend booking prior to visiting, as we went tonight and it was busy. The downside is there isn't many tables. Compared to others in the area that have just opened this place is a rustic and a traditional Italian style menu. I went with 3 other friends who all eat out regularly. We ordered starters, mains and a dessert. The starters were pleasant but certain dishes, like the pate, garlic pizza bread, calamari and brushetta. All starters came quickly. All tasted lovely.

The mains are plentiful, large portions presented in front of us, followed by the waiter offering some black pepper and Parmesan cheese.

We had 3 pasta dishes, and a calzone which i can say we all finished without anything left. So that proved they did something right. All tasted flavorful, and left us all full.

We had a quick look at the dessert menu, we all shared the The Orange Bomb which was basically Orange flavored ice cream, reminded us of eating a Terrys Chocolate Orange. (Recommended).

3 course meal with drinks and service charge £20 cant argue with that.

Staff are very friendly, service was quick when ordering drinks and our choices of the menu. Had a good time would say food, drink, and atmosphere was good. Will be recommending and will be going back shortly.
