Authentic village with nice coffee spots, also you can get some authentic souvenirs. Colorful and you can get great views of the mountains where the coffee plantations are.

This is where the action is. Still, pretty local place with some fun spots for food and drinks. Nice fresh market too. Chill, have a drink and enjoy.

Best part about this place is joining the locals, who sit around outside the surrounding restaurants, bars and tiendas literally from sun up until past sun down! It’s very quaint and at night the food stalls come out serving a variety of food (hamburger 5k, burritos approx 5k, slice of pizza approx 5k, fish and chips 7k, papa rellena 1.5k) We were able to sit and eat it at a nearby set of table and chairs whilst I enjoyed a hot milo for just 1400COP!

The only downer was that the square itself is under maintenance so the middle was surrounding by a disgusting blue tarp! Would love to experience it in all its glory...

A beautiful cobbled plaza, with colourfully painted shop fronts and made more stunning by the surrounding mountains and the hand painted chairs and tables that they place in the square. It is quite lively late afternoon, and a great place to have a drink and soak up the atmosphere and people watch. Our toddler had a fantastic time playing with the Colombian kids running around, and it is a place for the whole family. This was our third time to Jardin, and it is one of my favourite towns in Colombia.

It is like stepping back in time.

Jardin is a nice, small town in the mountains, colder than Medellin, temperature goes from 50-70, can be a little cold at night due to the nearest high peaks. It's safe and people is friendly, there are decent local hotels to stay, it's on the cheap side and you can enjoy cafe or drinks up to late at night on the plaza.
