“Great house and location.”
Reviewed 3 August 2014 for a stay in July 2014

The house is well appointed and is in a great location. Great shower and the air conditioning is a welcomed addition. Mike the owner has really thought out what's needed, well done Mike. Thank you. Would highly recommend and will book again.

“Second Visit”
Reviewed 1 August 2014 for a stay in July 2014

We have just returned from a fantastic week in Cornwall, staying for the second year running at Hatch Hill and once again it didn't disappoint. Angarrack is a lovely village minutes from Hayle and all its facilities. Hatchs Hill is like a home from home with everything you could possibly need for your holiday. Mike (landlord) was a pleasure to meet and was available should any problems have arisen (which they didn't)
On his recommendation we visited The Watermill in Lelant for a meal and it was lovely. The beach at Lelant (Porth Kidney) is easily accessible and suitable for dogs. The large beaches at Hayle - The Towans - were stunning, just one word of warning if you're taking a dog, only the middle section of the beach is dog friendly and the dog wardens will fine you if they find you on any other part but having said that the beaches are huge.
Can highly recommend Hatchs Hill and will be hoping to stay there again next year.

“Excellent facilities in an excellent location with an excellent landlord!”
Reviewed 10 June 2014 for a stay in June 2014

Good honest accommodation. Located in an elevated and quiet location, only a minutes drive from the shops.
Mike the landlord, always on hand if we needed him and only too pleased to help. There is plenty of garden for the family to run around and it's only a short drive from the beach. There is a BBQ for use too.
It's a shame the village pub has closed down but the Red River Inn is only 5 minutes drive away where they serve good food and real ale. Also look up the Engine Inn at Cripplease or the Blue Anchor in Helston.
If you want a laid back spot for your family to enjoy their holiday, then this is perfect. Quiet with plenty of parking and yet close enough to the crowds if you venture to St Ives or Penzance.
We shall certainly consider a return visit to this property. No complaints at all.

We recently came back from a fantastic time in Cornwall with family from both sides of the world. The house was like being at home beautifully presented and very comfortable. It was very well equipped and a fantastic base for any family holiday. Highly recommend and will most definitely be back next year

“Fantastic - hope to book for next year”
Reviewed 19 August 2013 for a stay in August 2013

Have just returned from a brilliant week on Cornwall. We stayed at 10 Hatchs Hill and were thrilled with both the house and the location. The house was clean and tidy, the beds extremely comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. TVs in all the bedroom and in the lounge, a large selection of recorded films to watch as well as numerous DVDs and CDs. The wraparound garden was lovely and peaceful and had a table and seating as well as a BBQ. Enough parking for 2+ cars. Angarrack itself is a lovely quiet village, with a nice walk under the Viaduct. M&S, Costa Coffee, Boots and Next are within a 10- 15 minute walk. Lovely little fish and chip shop (Loggans) 10 minutes away in Hayle. The pub in the village (the Angarrack Inn) is a 5 minute stroll down the hill (bit more strenuous climbing back up ) but the food is worth it, its a busy pub with a huge beer garden although dogs are welcome inside as well. Good base for a holiday with North and South coasts within easy reach. Would definitely stay here again, it was lovely.
