“Lovely Stay”
Reviewed 19 October 2016 for a stay in October 2016

We stayed for a long weekend for my daughters first birthday and it was perfect. Loved the converted chapel, a really unique property. Wood burning stove made it really cosy and Brassington is such a beautiful area. Really well equipped and excellent cot / highchair. Highly reccommend.

“Fantastic property in ideal location”
Reviewed 4 September 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Fantastic property in ideal location for the Peak District National Park. Heart in mouth road to get to Chapel House just adds to the charm. First visit to the Peak District and all parts are easy to get to from the property with Bakewell (the town and pudding) a favourite. If you do not want to venture too far afield there is a lovely hillside walk just opposite the property, complete with sheep and cows that provide the morning alarm call!

“Great location and beautiful countryside views”
Reviewed 14 July 2016 for a stay in June 2016

We had a lovely stay at chapel house despite the rainy weather. The house was in a good location for exploring the Peak District and had beautiful countryside views from all windows. The owner was very helpful and provided suggestions of things to do with a baby. We particularly enjoyed
curbar edge, dovedale, tissington village and we also visited chatsworth house which was great to walk around with a pram. We would definitely recommend the property to others!

“The Perfect Accommodation ”
Reviewed 30 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Brilliant. Everything to a very high standard. Comfortable beds and more than ample space to sleep 5, 6 if you want to share a large single or sofa! Wood burner made for a great evening of cheese and red wine!

The owner of the cottage David was brilliant. Lots of info and made the whole booking process clear and trouble free. Very prompt on emails!!

No down sides at all really. Both pubs are good in the village. Both of them offering something completely different. The steak at The Gate is brilliant and so are the new owners!

All in all, A+++++
