While on a motorbike trip we stayed one night in the White hotel in Champéry, this seems to be a family run boutique hotel. We were greeted by our hosts and check-in was smooth and efficient. Our host guided us to our room (201), on the front side of the building. From our balcony we had wonderful view over the valley and mountains. This is what we liked:
• Friendly staff
• Nicely designed and cozy rooms
• Nicely designed building, everything seems quite new
• Location and view
• Balcony
• Well stocked breakfast buffet

Dislikes/ points for improvement
• Shower was in bath tub and shower head could not be mounted on the wall so one had to sit in bathtub to shower or hold shower head while showering.
• Rooms were rather small
• I did not sleep too well due to the mattress, although my partner did (so the problem probably lies with me)
• It is rather expensive

The hotel also offers a sauna, which we did not use during our stay, so I cannot review this. All in all Le White is a nice hotel and seems to be a good spot for a skiing holiday as well as for weekend trips/ summer trips to Champéry. Also, the area has a lot to offer, there is a huge skiing area just a stone through away, hiking and mountain biking trails, nice restaurants as well as a thermal bath.

Hôtel Le White is only a short (10 minute) walk from the main lift. There is also a regular bus service. The rooms at the hotel are well appointed and comfortable with an excellent bathroom. Breakfast at the hotel was good. The boot room is very small and there isn’t a great deal of room to put boots on etc... although there is a bar this shuts at 8 as it would appear does the entire hotel. The staff were pleasant and helpful, however, it was very evident that they did not wish to be disturbed after 8pm. Champéry on a whole is charming but very quiet. At a similar price this hotel doesn’t compare to others that I have stayed at in the port du soleil.

Mid week stay and from map looked to be substantial walk from the telefirique - however very walkable - gentle 5 to 10 minutes and prompt schedule bus transfers if needed. Excellent facilities and staff - can't fault attention to detail and cleanliness. Comfortable / relaxing and a great base to explore the Porte Du Soleil. Rooms and general hotel on par if not better than a lot of 5* hotels I have stayed in.

Fantastic experience from check-in to check-out. The hosts, Etienne and Anne-Marie, oversee all hotel operations and are also very informative regarding the village and surrounding region. The facility, which was recently renovated, is quite contemporary and immaculate. Rooms and baths are well sized, well appointed, and very comfortable. The Valais breakfast is wonderfully staffed and ample. The hotel's location at the very end of the village was not problematic for our family. The village itself is not that large and all areas of interest are within minutes by walking.

We have stayed for a couple of nights at Le White. Although the outside looks rather unfashioend and dated, the inside is totally renovated and cool. White and grey tones dominate (as the name suggests). We booked one of the suites - top floor under the roof. Very sizable and spacious. Not much if a view but we felt not really necessary. For us a little minus was the carpet. Bed comfortable, rain shower and a bath tub. Little sofa corner plus two arm chairs. Room-wise top. Breakfast was buffet and choice ok. Some more choice of fruit would have been appreciated. Other than that all there. On the service side things are thin. Although we have no complaints we felt, the hotel is managed by only two people. This would explain why one could only have breakfast and nothing else. And staff will leave premises latest at 20:00. Afterwards you need an entry code to the hotel and in case of issues need to phone the manager. Nevertheless, we have missed nothing and the room was great.

Room tip: one of the two suites
