We stayed at this pension on a cold winter day when there was much snow lying, The building is outstanding. The reception appears to be only staffed in the morning, when we arrived at 1600hours we had to communicate with the proprietor by way of the intercom. In fact we never saw another person in the building until breakfast the following morning. Our room was on the 2nd floor was grand and extremely well decorated. It was warm and well appointed. Despite being so close to the centre it was quiet and we enjoyed an excellent nights sleep.
The breakfast was first class and well worth the money 6euro. Car parking is limited and if you want to park your car adjacent to the property should be booked in advance at a reasonable 4 euro.
Highly recommended and we would stay again.
One word about Bad Kissingen which is no reflection on Pension Nordland, the visitor tax is an outrageous 3.50 euro per person per night. The most I have come across anywhere.More
