We were fortunate to return to Karma Bavaria with our three boys and had a wonderful time. The hotel was wonderful, the staff very welcoming (thank you, Paul in particular) and the facilities fantastic. We especially enjoyed the luxurious pool and jacuzzi. The restaurant food was superb.
We hired a car from the airport and highlights included Munich, Spitzingsee and Salzburg. We took the train from Schliersee to Munich which only took an hour and a family ticket was very reasonable. The toboggan ride at Tegernsee was adventurous fun for our older boys - they loved it! (You can hire a sledge for €5).
A wonderful holiday and amazing family memories made - thank you, Karma.

Schliersee is a beautifull location. There are a lot of thing you can do for a perfect holiday for young and old. Karma Bavaria is the ideal resort for your holiday in summer and wintertime. The staff is professional and friendly.

Lovely hotel in the traditional style, with excellent staff and facilities- including a great spa area. Situated in the beautiful lakeside town of Schliersee, the hotel is an ideal base for sightseeing in Bavaria, such as Neuschwanstein Castle, Zugspitze and of course, Munich. Being relatively close to the border of Austria, Karma Bavaria is also handy for a day trip to Salzburg! There are fantastic local amenities and the hotel staff recommended some lovely places to eat. We are family of three, with a toddler and highly recommend this hotel.

Just spent an excellent week in this wonderful resort. Everything about the place is fantastic. It looks as though its posdibly in the process of having the rooms updated but not sure about this. Youre given a free bus pass to take the local buses around the area. Mixed review of the bus drivers some grunt at you where others are helpfull. Most people seem to speak english and are happy to help if yoy get stuck. This was the same with the train to. Took the bus upto Spitzingsee to snowboard. Its literslly 30 mibs from the bys station which is right next to the train station. The Swimming pool at the hotel is excellent to with not many people seemin to use the facilities. Theres also a games room with free pool and bowling. We stayed as Karma members so there was a discount on services which was nice. The surrounding village is lovely no garish neon signs its very mellow. There are plenty of placed to eat and the food was also excellentings! The lake is beautiful and this is only a short walk from the hotel. Before you get to the train station there is a Netto abd theres also another small supermarket called Endeka or something similar. Its very easy to get around on the bus or trains but be mindful that if you are coming back frim Munich on the BOB train it splits into 3. You need the first carriages but they do say on the side just double check the screens on the train itself. Would thoroughly recommend the hotel. It makes a brilliant base to go exploring and the staff are very knowledgeable about the surrounding area.

Nice holidays at karma bavaria germany. I have spend 7 nights on karma bavaria... Nice resorts or hotel... with great view from our room the bavarian alps...
Nice buffet for grill pork... i really like the crunchy pork grill
And nice food at bar... bacon is crispy and very good serve by bartender
And for the best person are Ms.Silvia and Mr.Jorg. they make our holidays complete with private tours to castle , innsbruck and salzburg austria...
And for the last comment is...... i' ll be back for karma bavaria....

We stayed in 2 rooms as a family of 5 with Karma in January 2019. The resort is fantastic, great amenities for adults and kids. Easy 25min free tourist bus up to the mountains where the skiing is perfect for beginner to intermediate runs.
