Titisee is only small but attracts many tourists. People come to look, sail, eat and bush walk. We rode our bikes around the area. Sadly we couldn’t ride our road bikes around the lake cause of the gravel surface. It is a busy place but worth a look. There are free public toilets near the station.

Plenty of parking and a short walk to the lake. So many shops, restaurants and things to do. From boat rides or hiring boat or if you’re up for the challenge, go and walk round the whole lake. We did and it was lovely! Nothing too hard, just a long distance, 5.8km. Took us about an hour. Plenty of places to eat and drink once your ready. Ice cream was delicious! Not expensive and had a lovely day here. Would highly recommend!!

The largest and beautiful natural lake in the Black Forest. A place crowded with tourists. There are a lot of restaurants, shops, hotels and stalls too. You can shop for many things - scarfs, t-shirts, hats, souvenirs and local fruits. Wines are selling hot here too. Information center not only to collect information but also a place to allow tourists to rest and to ease themselves. As the lake is surrounded by forest and low mountains, it is an idyllic place to relax in a delightful, natural setting. In the meantime, do enjoy a cup of the local creamy ice cream, very nice.
