The gentle slope where the Weberberg district of Biberach is located can be described as a hill at best. At the foot of the Gigelberg hill, right under the old remains of a fortress, between the White Tower (“Weisser Turm”) and the Gigel tower (“Gigelturm”), you will find the oldest and probably the most beautiful part of Biberach.
There are more than 30 half-timbered houses in the proximity that have been beautifully restored. A stroll through the small alleys can be easily combined with a walk up the hill. By doing so you will pass the White Tower (“Weisser Turm”), then the Gigel tower (“Gigelturm”) and eventually walk down the other side to end up back in the Weberberg district, next to the town center.
In the middle of the two towers is a view point with the historic city center and the Weberberg district at your feet.
There are some shops and restaurants to visit as well.
