Stayed in the large house myself partner and ''2yr'' daughter. It was lovely and clean and very well equipped. A lot of care has gone in to restoring and keeping as many of the original features as possible. I personally loved how the over sized original floor boards creaked. The kitchen was a central part to the house and spent a lot of time in there having large seating areas. It had everything possible you could of needed. The bedrooms were spacey and light with some very nice quirky furniture. The back garden is shared and we were lucky to have amazing friendly families twice. Plenty of space outside and BBQ. If i had to have a tiny niggle about the back door area it would be to have a tiny gate at the end of the patio area above the steps to stop the ducks getting on as they left a lot of mess every where and right outside the back door and was forever cleaning it before we could eat out there or let our daughter out. Other than that the ducks were lovely. The house is a fantastic location and central to all the bays. The village has a few pubs/bars a chip shop and an amazing deli! We loved our time there and wish we could of stayed longer anyone who books would not be disappointed. Its full of character and local history bits ''maps and so on'' And was interesting reading about the mill and the whole history of the house. No detail was left out including soaps and gels in the bathrooms to milk in the fridge. The bedding and pillows were top quality it was all amazing. Thank you for an amazing stay. P.s might be handy to bring or add baby monitors as if you wanted to use the games room or are in the living room its almost impossible to here anything upstairs.

We stayed at the house for 10 days. The party consisted of all grown ups although the house caters very well for young children.
It was comfortable - the beds were great, the bedding was fab, the furnishings were excellent. The towels were good.
The garden was very tranquil - set back from any roads, it over looks farmers fields.
Bedding and sofa's are feathered but top quality so more down than feather.
The kitchen was well stocked with every piece of equipment you could possible need.
The games room was very good fun for us grown ups.
We didn't want to leave.
The owner is very reactive and she has thought of everything.
Ideal location:
Taxi cost £7 to Padstow harbor
The local shops and pubs are walking distance.
