I had stayed here recently for a 20 man bachelor party and golf trip. This place was wicked! Plenty of space and entertainment for all the guys. Poker table, ping pong table, theater room with a fully equipped wet bar, indoor-outdoor hot tub, and a well equipped kitchen. Has a nice bbq area with a gas fire pit as well. We had a catered meal at this place and we were able to seat all 20 people in the dining area to eat together. I must say, every guest including myself was a little skeptical before we got there but we were blown away and everyone said they wanted to come back here to make it into a annual trip. The owner/operator of the crescendo was helpful with any questions and suggestions and easy to deal with as well.
Crescendo was above and beyond our expectations. From relaxing in the pool or sitting back in the theatre enjoying a movie to the amazing views from the balcony. From booking to departure Mitch and Dan were both very helpful and accommodating.
What an amazing, awesome, fun experience! Our family had such a great time, and the house is sooooo convenient to the Village. Our son learned how to ski (from scratch) and was able to walk back to Crescendo for breaks and lunch between group lessons. At night, the movie theater (complete with popcorn) and game rooms kept us busy and together! Thanks.
The crescendo exceeded my expectation. Right on the mountain, within steps of the village. Perfect place to stay!
In September 2017, my husband and I were married at Crescendo. From the moment we began our planning with the owner, we felt supported and encouraged. Mitch has a helpful, flexible, and accommodating staff that takes care of the venue during the bike and ski season. As soon as we stepped foot inside Crescendo, we knew it would be the perfect place to stay during our wedding weekend and to hold our 120 person ceremony and reception. The indoor space gave a unique house party feel to our wedding and due to the magnificent architecture of the chalet, décor was kept to a minimum with floral arrangements, greenery, and “enchanted forest” details. Guests were able to hang out in the theatre room (where we positioned the main bar), in the great room (where staff removed all furniture and we made a dance floor with a DJ set-up), around the beautiful dessert table (dining room), and outside on the covered patio (where we had a band, a cocktail hour bar, and patio seating. I was able to get ready in the master bedroom, which provided a perfect dressing room for the makeup artist, hair stylist, and bridal party to spend the afternoon. The catering company (Details Catering) were familiar with the venue and took advantage of the modern kitchen area to create and serve canapés throughout the venue (we chose not to have a sit down dinner). The outdoor space at Crescendo provided a scenic and ethereal venue for the wedding ceremony. We were able to set out over 100 rented chairs and the event company we hired (Blushing Pear Event Planning and Rentals) created an elegant aisle and arched area for the ceremony to take place. At the end of the weekend, we didn’t want to leave the luxury of this chalet at Big White. Our guests were blown away by the magic of our wedding weekend at Crescendo. If you are interested in getting married at Big White Ski Resort, Crescendo is the place to do it!
