Yossis is a great vibe but the hummus is very average. All the food is average, nothing to write home about.

Service from Godfrey good but the food failed delivered. Pita bread was most definitely not Pita!!! Didn't even resemble it! Mozzarella fritters had no mozzarella appeared to be Gouda strong and yellow. Falafel balls too big. Dips alright, chicken strips tasty. Unable to appreciate dips as pseudo pita too thick and stodgy. Definitely not value for money actually expensive. R80 for 4 falafel balls with feta. No mozzarella fritters R70.

Saw Yossis had opened in Hillcrest after a visit to Stretta so tried it out as this restaurant is also registered on Entertainer. On informing them that we would be using Entertainer, the waitron replied that it had not been loaded into their system so, sorry, can't use it. Very poor show. We stayed and ordered the Chicken curry and chicken tangine which was all veg and little meat. Tasty food and a nice strong curry but overpriced. Better value elsewhere in Hillcrest.

The food was pretty good but the price was ridiculous. R80 for 4 falafel balls. I was also disappointed that they had cheese inside them. Not authentic at all and as a vegan I wrongly assumed that they would be made without dairy.
The staff and managers were very accommodating and there was a nice vibe but we were surprised by the heavy bill at the end.
I hope they really up their game. I'm prepared to pay higher prices for exceptional quality, which seems scarce in Hillcrest!
