A lovely weeks stay in this beautiful area of France. Comfortable accommodation - loved the pool and games room. Great for families. Mike (the owner) had lots of information on things to do and places to eat. Would definitely recommend.
Having stayed here last year with extended family including 3 children aged 8, 10 and 13, we're back again this year. This property has been lovingly restored and is very well maintained with a very well kept garden which is huge. The property is spotlessly clean and well equipped with the necessary appliances and utencils and there is an equally spotless pool and a games barn with table tennis, games and badminton - this came in handy last year when we had a day of rain. The gite stands between the owners property and a larger gite (the one we stayed in last year) but with walls a few feet thick, sound from neighbours isn't a problem and the shared garden is certainly big enough for the two properties. The positioning of the garden furniture also ensures that each gite has it's own privacy and place to eat and BBQ.
The owners Mike and Christine are very welcoming and always on hand with excellent advice on where to go and what to do. Whilst you do need a car to go anywhere, it's only 5 minutes to the nearest village and about 40 minutes from the coast. We haven't found this a problem at all and enjoy the sense of 'getting away for it all' that this property gives, especially as it's set in such lovely countryside.
