You might not stop at this roadside restaurant, but it would be a mistake. A classy and simple interior, kind and polite staff not to mention the food.
For starter a trio of tomatoes, well seasoned and tasty and frog legs that melt in your mouth. The mains were the famous eels and trio of fish - all fresh, properly seasoned and beautifully served. Delicious chocolate cake, and small cookies for dessert. A real treat. Not to mention that the kids menu is a real plate with a fish and potato puree - looks like a grownup plate just a smaller option, not the usual chicken and fries you get. The waitress was very nice and had a good approach to children. A wonderful meal.

This restaurant has been awarded a "Bib Gourmand" from Michelin & it is richly deserved. The food is beautifully presented from a wide menu. Seasonal specials also on offer.English is spoken, but not forced upon you.M. Farret is a superb chef, while his wife provides an entertaining & enthuiastic front of house. This is one of our favourite restaurants.

Took a chance and called in on a Friday evening as door opened - we were in luck and offered a table in the window.
I say lucky, we as it turned out were two of a max of about fifteen diners allowed in that night - lucky as the whole experiance was brilliant!
The hostess jovial and extreamly welcoming and pleasent, knowlegable on the wines and dishes and more than happy to discuss.
I can not stress how good a night this was!
Obviously highly recommended!
Michelin recommandée too.

Last year we tried to eat here several times. Although the opening hours are posted outside, on two occasions when we arrived it was firmly locked up. We did manage to eat here once and it was very good.
This year I called in during the day to check the opening hours and was told they are open every day. When I tried to reserve a table for that evening, I was told there were closed, but only for that evening. The follow evening (Friday) the restaurant was also locked up. I'd love to eat here again but at this stage, I'm giving up dropping by to see if they're open.

This is a cute little restaurant run by a young couple serving authentic local cuisine for a mid-range budget. The service was very personal and welcoming. The food was simple, yet creative and, especially, fresh and local. On the departmental road, but quiet inside. Easy parking.
