We stopped in Chalon-sur-Saone on a drive from Provence to Calais and looked for somewhere to have an evening meal. By chance we found Les Gourmands Disents on line and fortunately they had a table for us. What a wonderful evening we had, delightful service from Nadine, who is also a patissiere and prepares the delicious desserts. The Bayonne ham starter and the red mullet main course were original, tasty and beautifully presented. I am coeliac and it’s important for me to avoid gluten - no problem here, Nadine was totally on top of the situation. I would highly recommend a visit to this gentle and welcoming restaurant.
