Visited recently with a group of friends for a long overdue catchup. What a hidden gem. Great reno, really nice food (loved the steak and sticky date), and nice friendly staff.

Thank Suzanne P

Visited over the weekend for a large family catch-up. They've got a great big table that fit the whole family. Food was really good and reasonably priced. Staff were really friendly. Didn't know this place even existed, but will be back.

I really enjoyed our visit out to Hall. The food was really good. I had the steak and my wife had a woodfired pizza, which was great. Great fitout, it was a little unexpected, but a pleasant surprise.

Went with ten friends. Three of us ordered the chicken parma. One was fine but two were burnt to a crisp- the cheese was not a melting cheese so had formed a hard layer on the top. There was no tomato sauce and the coating on the chicken was almost 1mm thick- it was really floury and over-herbed. A friend ordered the ‘lamb shanks’- it was one lamb shank, singular! Another friend ordered the lamb chops, which he couldn’t eat because they were literally RAW! We didn’t send anything back because service was so slow that we didn’t think we would get any food at all. We were all absolutely disgusted and will NEVER be back. My mother is a better cook, and she is terrible!!!!!!! Save your petrol money, seriously.

Thank Perjan

The staff were welcoming and friendly. The ambience is good and includes a lovely fireplace. Unfortunately the single comfortable sofa in front of the fireplace is not matched by the other cold, very uncomfortable metal chairs and stools provided around tables/benches. We chose a mushroom entree to share. It was underwhelming and overpriced. Our mains, Steak Diane (T bone and Scotch) were adequate but nothing special for the price tag of $35. The steamed vegetables were excellent but the mashed potato was very average. The boutique beer and a glass of white house wine was good but at $18 is on the exe side. We enjoyed the meal but did not love it and left debating whether we would return. This restaurant/grill has most of the ingredients to do well but imo they are not quite where they need to be.
